The official Character Poster for Chioma Chukwuma in MAKEMATION.

Chioma Chukwuka is Every Mother in MAKEMATION

I feel old. Chioma Chukwuka is now old enough to play a mother in film.

We have watched her be the hottest chick in town. We have watched her be the damsel in distress and the humble love interest of a handsome young man. Now, we are seeing her as EVERY mother in the biggest story to come out of Africa.

She still remains our childhood crush for life. But now, we get to see her shine like the veteran she is in MAKEMATION, the tech family movie of the year.

“The tech family movie of the year,” you ask. “Yes,” we respond.

“Chioma Chukwuka doesn’t strike me as a tech person,” you retort.

Well, she’s a brilliant actor who wears many faces. And she’s in MAKEMATION—the film that was made to teach you all about what tech and AI can do!

She will be portraying the realities of every mother in our film, which has the co-sign of the Lagos State Government.

You might ask how the “Sin of the Flesh” star is “every mother” in MAKEMATION.

Well, I could tell you, but that would be a spoiler. This article is not about to ruin your experience at the movies.

But here’s one thing I can tell you: Chioma Chukwuka is going to make you laugh, cry and want to hug your mother.

In fact, I assure you that you will call your mother after the credits roll. You will even make plans to take her to the cinemas.

Pulling from her experiences as a mother of two boys, the “Gangs of Lagos” star will be playing Ginika Sodangi. Zara, the film’s protagonist, played by Tomi Ojo, is her daughter.

It will not be the Most Anticipated Movie of the Year 2025 if stars like Chioma Chukwuka are not in it. So, tell your friends to tell their friends. You do not want to miss the performance of a lifetime from one of Nollywood’s GOATs in MAKEMATION.

Chioma’s fans in the diaspora can get tickets to see her in the film when it goes worldwide in May 2025. Nile Entertainment is distributing the film.
