Born in 1992 in Osun state as Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji and raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers state as Nasboi, the multi-faceted and multi-talented creative has held his own on social media for more than half a decade now.
Our very own “Yoruba Abobi” has portrayed so many characters in his social media career. And the best part is that all his characters are hits!
Every time you scroll through Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (now known as X) or TikTok and see a Nasboi video, chances are high that you’ll stay and watch and even go down a rabbit hole of his content.
The actual truth is that the comedy he dishes out is not what keeps you consuming his content. It’s his acting chops.
Nasboi has gotten better and with every year he has spent being a creative. His delivery of his comedic lines and the way he manipulates his emotions in the stories he tells are skills that have made him beloved.
This is why he was a no-brainer when the key crew behind MAKEMATION were casting for the film.

Nasboi exemplifies the core message of MAKEMATION: “People who make it in life don’t have two heads”.
The multi-talented creative was cast as the laptop technician who services the world of MAKEMATION, especially the students of the institute.
His acting brought lots of laughs to the set and inspired the younger cast. They eagerly sought his advice and he was happy to offer it. The crew is proud to have worked with Nasboi.
What you should be excited about though, is seeing the “Umbrella” crooner actively interact with the AI elements in the film.
It’s something he has never tried before and yet, he performed like a pro while staying true to his beloved humorous side.
